UPDATE 12/29/14 — The Arkansas State Police has cancelled a Silver Alert issued earlier for an elderly Ozark man.
Ozark Police say the body of 91-year-old William E Harris was found on Sunday afternoon near his car on High way 309 in Logan County. Police believe Harris may have gone for a drive, that his vehicle became stuck, and that he then attempted to walk for help, when the cold overtook him. Police suspect a possible cause of death to be exposure to the cold and are not suspecting any type of foul play to be involved.
