From mid afternoon on through a good part of the this evening, we will have some scattered thunderstorms in the state. While chances for severe weather are not very high, some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds.
An unsettled weather pattern will affect Arkansas into the weekend. While any severe storms are likely to be isolated, there will be scattered thunderstorms in the state from time to time.
From late Friday afternoon into Saturday morning will be one such period, especially in northern and central Arkansas.
Another round should affect the state from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.
We are not looking for any widespread, heavy rain, but the strongest storms will be capable of dropping around an inch of rain.
