International Space Station Makes Another Appearance in the Arkansas River Valley

Chris Daniel in Mena reports that the International Space Station will be visible in the area the next two nights, weather permitting, as it orbits over the valley region.

Tuesday night for two minutes starting around 9:27 PM, look to the west for it as it travels from the west to the south southwest at about 18 degrees above the horizon.

Wednesday night there will be a longer viewing opportunity starting at about 8:39 PM for about four minutes as it enters from the west and travels to the south southeast at about 35 degrees above the horizon.

The weather looks better for viewing Tuesday night than it does for Wednesday night.
