Friends and Authorities Search for Missing Girl after Wakarusa Outdoor Music Concert North of Ozark — UPDATE: ALEX HAS BEEN FOUND!

We have received information concerning the report of a girl missing from an outdoor music concert, over the weekend, promoted as “Wakarusa”. Only the girl’s first name (Alexandra) was known at publish time, and friends say the girl goes by “Alex”. Alex is described as Hispanic (olive skinned), long dark-brown hair, brown eyes, 5’2, 100 pounds, and small framed. She speaks both English and Spanish and has a fairly loud “raspy” voice.  (Photo below)

She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, leopard print rainboots, a grey/light blue tanktop, a small brown and tan velvet hooded cape, and a light blue tank top with grey block lettering saying “Bad Decisions Make Good Stories”. She was also wearing an Amethyst necklace and a bracelet made out of coconut shell. She has a tattoo of a Sun on her right hip just above her waist and another tattoo on her side/ribs that says “I Solemnly Swear I’m Up To No good”. She also would be wearing a Wakarusa wristband, which is bright bright neon green with white lettering.

It was reported that police sent a search and rescue team into the woods and waters of the festival area. At that point, she had not been admitted to any hospitals, had not been arrested, and was not anywhere on the actual festival property according to police.

If you make contact with her or see the girl, please call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (AR) at (479) 667-4127, Ext 1.
