Arkansas Lifelong Hiking Enthusiast Releases Video of Hour-Long, 125-Mile Float Down the Ozarks’ Buffalo River

If you’ve ever wanted to canoe down the beautiful Buffalo and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery the Ozark Mountains has to offer…but lacked the time and skills to do so…Gary Alderson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has released a most relaxing and enjoyable video of his recent week-long, 125-mile float.

Gary is a lifelong hiker, and, although he shared this latest trip with a few of his friends, Gary normally enjoys backpacking alone…his own pace…his own schedule. He took his first “solo” trip when he was just twelve years old and has been at it for almost 30 years, perfecting his skills and documenting his adventures and the beauty of the Ozarks in photos and video.

Gary’s latest video takes you down the Arkansas Buffalo, all the way from Ponca to Buffalo City…over 125 miles. The movie is “High Quality HD”, recorded in 1080p, so it can easily be watched on any 50-inch big screen. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy our beautiful backyard!
