Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officials say both residents and nonresidents may fish this weekend in the state without fishing licenses or trout permits. Regulations for Arkansas waters still apply, including daily limits, slot limits, and length limits. The Free Fishing Weekend officially begins at Noon on Friday, June 6th, and will end on Midnight Sunday, June 8th.

Each pond will be stocked with catchable-size fish. Be sure to supply your own fishing tackle and bait. There are limits of three fish per child and one rod or pole per child.
