Arkansas’ largest amateur big bass tournament on the Arkansas River takes place this Friday through Sunday, June 27th through the 29th, 2014. A total of $100,000 in cash will be awarded during this year’s Arkansas Big Bass Bonanza.
The huge tournament spans 300 miles of eligible fishing from the west border of Arkansas to the east and the entire length of the state’s Arkansas River. The Arkansas will be divided into five fishing pools, each with its own official weigh-in site. The five weigh-in sites will be
- Clear Creek Park, Fort Smith
- Dardanelle State Park, Russellville side
- North Little Rock Marina & Boat Dock, located on the east side of the I-30 bridge near NLR
- Regional Park, Pine Bluff
- Pendleton Bridge, east of Dumas
Please note that registration via fax, Internet, and most official registration sites is available only through Wednesday, June 25, 2014. After June 25, it is recommended you call the registration site to make sure they are still open. On-line registration will end at midnight Wednesday, June 25th.
Registration fee is $80 for one day, $160 for two days, and $240 for three days. Late fees will be charged beginning Thursday, June 12th at the rate of $10 per day fished.
